We will be performing "Disruptions & Continuities," an excerpt from CAVES, a site specific, multi-media project that explores the idea that, in an ultimately impermanent world, often disrupted by natural forces beyond our control (floods, earthquakes, forest fires, tornadoes), we strive to record our rituals, daily events, and dreams through artistic forms. Inspired by the Lascaux cave paintings, we draw on the elements (water, earth, air and fire) to create embodied meaning in movement, music and theatrical vignettes to capture the impact of disruptions in our lives and our quest for continuities.
