      <image:caption>Eben Wood holds an MFA in Creative Writing and a PhD in English Languages and Literatures from the University of Michigan, and is currently professor of English and co-director of the Creative Writing Program at CUNY Kingsborough. He has published recent work on New Orleans and the Mississippi Delta, retracing the route taken by writer Tom Dent in his work with the Free Southern Theater in the 1960s, and on North Korea and Korean War memory. A recipient of a 2010 New York Foundation Fellowship in Nonfiction Literature, he served on the selection panel for the 2017 NYFA Fellowships in the same category. Most recently he has traveled to Puerto Rico to report on the hardwood reforestation program at the rainforest preserve of Las Casas de la Selva, and the effects of Hurricane Maria on that work. He is a founding editor of the online literary and arts journal Flatbush Review, and lives in Ditmas Park, Brooklyn.</image:caption>

      <image:caption>Native New Orleanian Richard Bates plays his own music and with long time favorite the Song Dogs. He spent ten years in New York City where he attended NYU and worked as a professional sound engineer in a commercial studio. By day he is currently the Associate Director at Young Audiences of Louisiana, an organization that engages thousands of students daily to learn in and through the arts and that founded an arts integrated charter school in Jefferson Parish. He is a volunteer coach for his children's baseball and soccer teams and volunteer sound engineer for Adult Brain Injury Survivors radio show Saturdays at 11AM CST on WHIVFM.org. He was music director, composer, and musician for Last Stop: Desire, Nicole Colbert’s dance/theatre adaptation of A Streetcar Named Desire by Tennessee Williams which was first performed at the New Orleans Jazz Museum for the Tennessee Williams/Literary Festival in New Orleans, LA.</image:caption>

      <image:caption>Christopher Meng is a multi-instrumentalist with a fascinations with all things musical and expressive. He has studied performance, composition, theory, jazz, ethnomusicology, computer music, engineering and acoustics, and has performed European vocal music from the medieval to renaissance periods, experimental rock, folk, jazz, cumbia, Romani music and other musics from around the world. He has spent time studying traditional music and dance in Ghana along with several other styles. His writing is textural, exploring the spectrum between the highly organized complexities of the Western musical traditions and the complexities of spontaneous communal and improvised music.</image:caption>

      <image:caption>Originally from Canada, Rachel trained extensively in ballet and contemporary dance. She went on to attend the Joffrey Ballet School in New York City and tour nationally with the Joffrey Concert Group. Rachel completed the prestigious Alonzo King LINES Ballet Training Program and the Pushing Progress Professional Development Program. She has since had the privilege of dancing with numerous New York City based companies and choreographers. Her choreography was performed in the 2017 Empathy Series and is featured in Dance Magazine and Dance Teacher Magazine. Rachel studied acting under Bruce Ornstein and was cast as the lead in Susan Boggess' A Heart Scam- which won Week One of the New York City Short Play Festival. Rachel is thrilled to be performing the role of Blanche in Colbert's production of A Streetcar Named Desire.</image:caption>
